Hi!I’m Caterina Amodio, also known as Kat Amo Odio. I was born in Venezuela, with Italian and Galician roots, and although I’m based in Madrid, my creativity drives me to move between Madrid, Barcelona, Porto, Miami, and New York.
I’ve always felt a deep fascination for aesthetic beauty, which has led me to constantly experiment, innovate, and create. I graduated in Graphic Design and Audiovisual Communication, and my career has been centered around the artistic field, art direction in advertising, and cultural management. I’ve explored various styles and materials, from red wine and coffee to watercolor and collage, but it was with New Era that my work took a new direction. Inspired by geometry and color, my artistic proposal aims to be a visual response to a post-pandemic world marked by uncertainty, conflict, and global crises. My work, influenced by advertising and design, draws inspiration from fashion magazines, cinema, photography, and other cultural fields. As an Art Director in advertising, I’ve worked in Spain and New York with clients like Ford, AENA, Coca-Cola Music, Endesa, San Miguel, Ikea, Beefeater, and Nat Geo, among others. Additionally, my experience extends to the management and production of cultural projects. I was part of the PRO team at the Madrid Design Festival 2025, coordinating programming, logistics, and communication for one of the most relevant design events in the country. I’m a member of the Professional Association of Illustrators of Madrid, APIM and my work is available on various art platforms like Los Artistas del Barrio, Creatitis Art Lab, El Imparcial and OMG BCN. Through these platforms, you can explore and acquire my work, as well as participate in the art workshops I offer. I’ve also collaborated on creative initiatives such as Ladies, Wine & Design promoting connection and dialogue among artists and designers. ✨ Want to know more about my journey and projects?
